Once revered as a culinary genius working at Michelin stars restaurants in Paris & São Paulo, among other cities, then having his own fine cuisine restaurants in Brazil, Chef Michel Vallandro had conquered the world of haute cuisine for 25+ years. His restaurants were the talk of the town, attracting food enthusiasts from all corners of the globe. However, deep inside, Chef Vallandro yearned for something more – an endeavour that would allow him to share his passion for
gastronomy with people beyond the confines of his exclusive eateries.
Once upon a time, in a small picturesque town in Lebanon, surrounded by beautiful mountains, there lived a young and ambitious man named Edward Moufarrej. Edward had always been passionate about people, travel and tourism.
From a young age, he became a successful tour operator, organizing unforgettable trips for people from all over the world.
After completing his studies in tourism management, Edward started working for a renowned travel agency across Europe. He excelled in his role for 30+ years, designing unique and personalized itineraries and crafted culinary customer experience for travellers. However, he couldn’t shake the feeling that there was something more he wanted to achieve.
Edward began to ponder the idea of combining his love for food with his passion for the optimal customer experience in travel and tourism.
CREATING THE SYNERGY
After much contemplation, Chef Vallandro and his business partner Edward Moufarrej decided to embark on a new culinary journey – one that would take them into the frozen food aisle of supermarkets. They had long believed that gourmet cuisine should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their location or budget. Thus, the idea of creating a line of Brazilian style, stuffed Pão de Alho frozen garlic baguettes was born.
With his reputation preceding him, Chef Michel secured the best team of food scientists, culinary experts, and bakers to craft the perfect frozen garlic baguette. The endeavor was a true labor of love. Countless hours were spent perfecting the recipe to ensure the baguettes would retain their exquisite taste and texture, even after being frozen.
The magic lays in the meticulously selected ingredients and the unconventional preparation of the recipe. The garlic is sourced from small organic farms known for producing some of the world’s finest garlic.
